In standard Hydrogeology and Environmental databases three Matrix Types are provided for use: Soil; Water; and Gas; In Landfill databases SW, GW, Leachate, TW(Trade Waste), Gas, Dust are provided.

If you wanted to specify additional these Matrix Types these can be created (under the Setup menu).   When adding a Matrix Type under the "Setup" menu, ESdat simply adds this Matrix Type to the "zRef_Matrix_Types" reference table.  Users also get the option to create a view to output only that Matrix_Type, however all matrix types will be output under the standard output for each "state" of the matrix (ie liquid,soil,gas).

A list of all Matrix Types is listed in the "zRef_Matrix_Types" table, and the user can edit, delete, and also add Matrix Types here.
