The guideline “HSL A & HSL B Low – high density residential” has different values for 4 depth range (0-1,1-2,2-4,4+), and different values depending on the Matrix (Sand, Clay, Silt) One proposal to automatically flag exceedences is as follows: The guideline will be compiled and listed as a separate guideline for each matrix (Sand, Clay, Silt). Each of the four depth ranges will be displayed on the Chemistry Exceedence tables as four numbers, or a single number if it is applicable across all depths. Each result is compared with each guideline value taking into consideration it’s depth and it’s Matrix Type. See attached image. As an alternative, only the most conservative (ie the Sand) values could be displayed as an initial screen. Any other preferences from users are most welcome. It is anticipated the finalised functionality will be available in early 2014.
