Is there a way to delete a location code and all associated data in the zRef tables rather them having to first delete geology then sample chem. And finally location ?

No there isn’t. I agree it can get a bit tedious if having to do it lots, but if we allowed “Cascade Deletes” it raises the possibility of deleting huge volumes of data associated with deleting just a few locations.
If using the Access version, there is however, a back-end way to do it if you know a bit about Access and it is worth your while, you can change the relationships so that “Cascade Delete” is enabled.
