Howdy,

           I've just been reviewing the field chemistry data entered into our database and have come across a value of -9999 within several of the field parameters eventhough we didn't test for them out field.

Is this because a '-' was entered into the import template under that specific analyte?

Hello,

We're not aware of ESdat automatically assiging values of -9999, unless user specified.

If you don't want to import a value you are safer leaving a cell blank rather than entering a dash or other character.
