You can certainly apply custom vba functions to the Chem Table after export.

However, a custom vba module can't be included in the Chemistry Table Template Workbook.  When producing a Chem Table ESdat copies the Template worksheet into another workbook, so any other sheets or vba modules in the Template Workbook are left behind.

However, you can save your custom functions in your own workbook (or Excel Add-In file), and run them against the Chem Table, modules don't need to be run against the same workbook they are saved in.
