Hi,

I would like to see the standard for total distinct from dissolved. If there is only a standard for total then it should not show up in the dissolved. Currently, the default seems to be to have the standard listed for both even if it is only meant to be for total.

Is there any way to distinguish between a standard for filtered results vs for total results?

Thanks,

Elisa

Hi Elisa,

In ESdat 5 if you look under Data Tables - zRef_Environmental_Standards one of the columns (to the right) is "Applies to total results" and another is "Applies to filtered results".  These values default to True, but you can set to False.

Regards,

Hi Warwick,

Thanks for the info. However, even after I have indicated "true/false" in the "applies to total/filtered results" field, it still shows up in both for my chemistry output tables. I've sent you the chemistry output table for your reference.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,

Elisa

Hi Elisa,

This must be a bug in the Access version, where it is always applied to filtered as well as total, irrespective of that setting.

We will issue a fix, but in the meantime, for Chem Tables at least if you paste a blank cell over those "filtered" values you don't want to see (pasting a blank cell will clear the cell and delete the comment markers) and reformat exceedances the exceedances will highlight as you need.

Hi Warwick,

Thanks for your response. We are going to be producing several chem output tables that will have this same issue for a time-sensitive project. Any chance you could provide a timeline on this fix?

Elisa

Hi Elisa,

A fix for this is up on the website.  It turns out that the guideline value was listed for both Total & Filtered versions of the ChemName, although flagging of exceedances did correctly check the Total/Filtered applicability.
