Reordering Filter Fields

Is there any way to reorder the fields that show up in the filtering panel. It would be nice to be able to place the most common fields at the top, or to default to alphabetical order. Thanks ilya

Hi Ilya, They are ordered in the same order as in the data grid. For the data grid we felt that order was the best option, on balance, although I'm sure 10 different people would have 10 different ideas. We have considered the option of providing the option to sort the fields alphabetically in the filter panel, and will be including in a future update. Warwick

I agree with Ilya - being able to re-order the fields in the filter panel would be a great help. Having it default to alphabetical would be very nice, as would being able to put your own most commonly used fields at the top. I find I am constantly searching over and over for certain fields, even if I "know" where they are. I guess I just haven't developed muscle memory for that yet.
