Salinity Correction for Groundwater

We have circumstances where the RWL for groundwater is getting modified by a Salinity Coefficient.
Thinking about best ways to store and use that information. While we could in theory join the GWATER record to a Sample, its rarely that simple. Often the parameter applied may be an average or estimated from more than one reading.
One solution i have been considering is simply adding a Salinity correction field to the Gwater table - and possibly even a Salinity_Corrected_RWL (Which can then be populated either with Excel or with a post import calcn)
Is there any other approach that might be appropiate?

Hi Justin, You could look at how the density correction for LNAPL is done, and see if the same approach will work for you for salinity. Warwick

Its possible W - but its also Date Time dependent.
As I understand the LNAPL parameter in the Chem_Results - it applies to 1 specific Well, across the whole life of the well. And if we needed to change the correction factor for Salinity - it would be modified over time.
Its actually closer to the Well_DateVariant table, where the salinity Correction coefficiant, would be applied to all readings between Dates A and B. That might be a better place to stow the information even .
