Hi everyone,
When trying to import certain lab reports into tables the below error (10461 ETD) pops up and it does not let me continue.
Does anyone have any ideas of why, or how to get around this?
Thankyou

Hi Nick,
No other descriptions unfortunately. I cannot post a picture of any size as the Forum page keeps saying that I have exceeded my word count. See below;

Do you have any more detail that you can provide? For example: - Is it only affecting a particular Project, if so can you import the same Lab Reports into a different Project?
- Is it related to Lab Reports from a certain laboratory?
- When do you get the error?
- Directly after clicking the EDD import button?
- After you've selected the file?
- After you click upload?
- etc....
If you can provide additional details for these questions, and any other details you might think are relevant, that would be great. Cheers, Nick

Hi Nick,
One of our users has the same issue but it occurs on exporting data. They get an error message 10461 ETD SQL Syntax Error. This occurs after selecting Chem Table then filtering to soil, selecting one of the workorders and then "Finish" to generate the table. It occurs with any combination of settings to export data. screenshot.jpg (60kb) downloaded 5 time(s).
They are also experiencing an issue importing data. When selecting a laboratory report to import, the excel file opens but the Add Ins toolbar has no buttons, it is visible, but without any buttons to select.

More often than not, these issues are related to updates that have been applied to Excel. It's worth trying the following: - Can you do an export from the Excel Dump (ie not chem table) in the toolbar on the right, and send a screenshot of the whole screen?
- Can you try clicking Import – Locations and send any errors.
- Does doing a “Repair” on Excel resolve it?
- Has it just started happening? If it's just started happening, does uninstalling recent Excel or Office "Patches" resolve it? Were any applications recently installed or other changes made to the PC?
- Does reinstalling Excel resolve it?
- Are applications from different versions of Office on the same PC?
Cheers,
Nick

I got around this error by creating multiple tables exporting only a few chem groups at a time.
