Error exporting QA checker data "application is busy"

I'm using the server.dsn version of ESdat. I'm trying to export the Chemistry QA checker for 4 smallish lab batches. This is the error message: "This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose 'switch to' to activate the busy application and correct the problem.' When I selct 'switch to' nothing happens.

After clicking 'switch to' a few times I get "61390 SQL Error"

Hi Tom,
This error is most likely due to a hidden instance of Excel running in the background.
If you open your task manager and close any instances of Excel, the export will most likely work correctly.
You can also show any hidden instances of Excel by clicking the Excel button from the list of exports options on the right of the ESdat Desktop app.
