Hi all, Wondering if anybody else has had the issue where a lab report is known to be within the database (and has been correctly imported with all relevant info such as lab report number, SDG, lab name etc.) but does not appear for selection in the Chemistry QA checker? Thanks in advance!

Hi Richard,
There are scenarios where the Lab Report or SDG number does not show in the list of options for selection.
The main reason for this is if the Lab Report does not contain any Normal samples (i.e only has QC sample types).
You should be able to create QA reports for these if you generate the report using a date selection, however, or if you have at least one of the samples set with sample type Normal.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick, thanks for replying. Unfortunately, I know that the lab report in question contains several Normal samples. I can verify this when I perform a filtered search. Is there another reason the report might not show up? Thanks, Richard.

I figured it out.
Samples were imported without a sample date.
I re-imported and manually entered sample date information and that fixed it. Now the lab report appears for selection in the QA Checker.
