Can a user with editor permissions see the same options (projects & sites, lspecs, field portal, lab reports, data view) as an admin without giving them admin access ? Currently editors can only see LSPECS.

Hi,
It looks like you're confusing User Roles (Admin, Scheduler, Standard) and Project Permissions (View, Add, Edit, etc.).
These are two completely different concepts in ESdat.
The User Roles control what sections of ESdat the User can Access. An Admin User has access to all sections in order to administer the database; A Scheduler User has access to all Project related sections of ESdat, in order to create Projects and Sites and work on them as well as applying other user permissions, but not any of the settings or configuration sections; A Standard User only has access to the Lab Reports, Field Portal and Data Views sections, so that they can work on Projects which they have been assigned permissions.
The Project Permissions control what each User can do on a Project, and need to be configured for each user, for each Project. This can be done by Admin or Scheduler users.
If you want users to be able to access the Projects & Sites section of ESdat, you will need to set them up with the Scheduler role.
Please have a look at the following sections in our Online User Manual for more details:
http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?roles.htm
http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?project_users.htm
http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?users_projects_server.htm
Thanks,
Nick
