Hi I can't seem to find the NPUG groundwater guidelines available on ESdat Online or a way to upload these standards. Is there a way to upload environmental standards that are not currently listed on ESdat Online? I cannot find any information on how to do this in the online manual.

Thanks

Hi Sally,

Info about setting up your own standards can be found in the Online Manual here: https://ESdat.net/ESdat_...v_standards_settings.htm

If you still need additional information, was there a specific question you had?

You can also request additional standards be added to ESdat Online via the LinkedIn group here: http://www.linkedin.com/...ostPopular=&trk=tyah

Thanks,

Nick

NPUG.JPG (109kb) downloaded 2 time(s).Hi Nick,

There doesn't seem to be a way to privately message either of the LinkedIn groups you sent. I'd rather not post on the wall, there isn't any other posts about ESdat.

I attempted to set up a new standard however several of the chem codes weren't recognised (see image attached showing error). I searched the chemical names/ code/ similar codes and names using the ESdat chemistry search tool however was unable to find them on ESdat Online. I also searched google however had no luck.

Can you please let me know how I can get around the chem code issue or how I can contact ESdat directly to request the NPUG standard be uploaded.

**UPDATE**

Managed to upload the standard using the new standard template but had to remove the following:

  • Cyanide (as un-ionised Cn)
  • Flumetsulum
  • Flutriafol3

I'll just have to remember to add these in manually until ESdat updates to include these chemicals. Does ESdat update chemicals regularly?

Thanks,

Sally

Hi Sally,

Thanks for the update.  I was going to propose that you remove the analytes stopping the import as a first step, which is exactly what you've done.

New ChemCodes are added to the system when they are first reported in a Lab Report.  It seems like these ones haven't been reported by a lab yet.

Is there a link/URL to download the source document you could provide?  Sometimes the documents have additional details about each analyte which would help us manually create new ChemCodes if required.

Thanks,

Nick
