Hi Warwick, I am trying to delete project that has data in it and I recieve the following error:
Error Error while deleting the project:
An error occurred while updating the entries. See the inner exception for details.
Do you know why this is happening?
Regards Ash

Hi Ashley, I can't say why it's happening without more information, eg screenshots and if there is anything that looks useful in that exception text. Are you deleting from the web or the Desktop interface? However, you could try removing the data in the project and then trying again. Regards, Warwick

Hi Warwick,
I was deleting the project via the web interface.
I have now deleted all the chem results and lab reports except one in the Desktop view.
when i go to delete the last lab report it comes up the an error

Yet I added a comment into the box when deleting.
do you know how to fix this issue?

Hi Warwick,
I also try deleting the lab report on the web interface and got this error
A problem occurred when deleting lab reports: at System.Data.Entity.Internal.InternalContext.SaveChanges() at EScIS.Models.Entities.ESdat.DBModels.ESdatDbContext.SaveChanges() in C:\agent_vsts\_work\43\s\EScIS.Models.Entities.ESdat\DBModels\Context\ESdatDbContext.Audit.cs:line 376 at EScIS.Framework.Base.BLBase`1.ExecuteOnContext(Action`1 action) in C:\agent_vsts\_work\43\s\EScIS.Framework\Base\BLBase.cs:line 29 at EScIS.ESdat.Services.Web.Services.SASLabReportsService.DeleteLabReports(List`1 labReportIds) in C:\agent_vsts\_work\43\s\EScIS.ESdat.Services.Web\Services\SASLabReportsService.cs:line 327 at EScIS.MVC.Web.Controllers.SASLabReportsController.DeleteLabReports(List`1 labReportIds)
not sure if this helps

Hi Ash, We'll take a look at that lab report to see what is going on, can you send the URL? Regards, Warwick

just a note that this was imported using a data interchange file if that helps?

Hi Ashley,
Sorry, I didn't realise you were self rather than cloud hosting, I can't access that URL. Maybe try deleting all the samples in the lab report and see if that makes a difference, and also try through ESdat Desktop to see if you get a different error message. Warwick
