Is there an easy way to delete a whole lab file and assoiciated data from ESdat?

I have had numerous samples rerun and so when importing ESdat doesn't see it as existing data and so it has to be imported as new. When it tabulates a table it sometimes shows the old and new value. Is there a way to just delete out the old lab data for a particular lab file and then reimport the new file to avoid this error.

Hello,

You can filter for the Samples that belong in that Lab Report, click the "Edit" button, and delete those Samples.  The associated Chemistry Results will be automatically deleted.

Hello,

You can filter for the samples you want to delete (ie filter for a lab report number) then put ESdat into Edit mode, select all the data (click on the top left, column header) and press delete.  That will delete all the samples you filtered for, there is no need to delete one at a time.

Sincerely,

Alex
