Hi, I am trying to upload a new environmental standard in the server version of ESdat and am having issues with adding conditional depth values.

The import template that can be downloaded from the server version contains a ‘Conditions’ column but no matter what I put in here it doesn’t seem to upload with the rest of the environmental standard information when importing. The conditional depth values just remain blank.

Can you upload conditional depths from the import template? If so what format does it need to be in to be read into the server database correctly?

If you can't upload conditional depths, then what is the purpose of this column and how do make the best use of it moving forward?

Cheers,

 Jason

Hi Jason,

Do you mean the Excel export that you download from the Action Levels page of the Env Standard?  This is a populated Excel file, but it is not an import template.

Blank import templates can be generated from the main Env Standards list by clicking the "Download Template" button.  This template does not allow for conditions to be specified, as they can only be configured in the browser.

It sounds like you might be trying to customise an existing standard. If this is the case, you should use the "Copy" feature and then edit the new standard that is created.

More details on managing standards can be found in the user manual here:  https://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?env_standards_settings.htm

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks Nick.

That makes sense. Shame I can't just bulk upload depth conditional ranges for site specific criteria. I I will just use the browser to make the updates.

Cheers,

Jason
