Hi Everyone, We've had a look at the documentation for the API but it's a little sparse, or we just can't find the right bits, so we were wondering the following: - Will the API enable us to download data from ESdat?
- Are there any limitations to this service ?
- Are we already paying for this service? (I don't think we are but we figured we'd ask!)
- If we are to use this, where do we get the latest technical documentation

Hello Rebekah, The API is available as an upgrade, it's not included by default in a standard licence purchase. The API is to integrate with other applications so they can automatically access data stored in ESdat. The API isn't for end users to use directly to download data to applications like Excel. Exports available within ESdat are available for that. The technical documentation is of a particular layout used by software developers who would be the ones using the API to integrate ESdat with the other application.
