Hi guys,

Via Labsync, when the project ID on a lab report matches with a project ID in the database and there are errors relating to duplictae data or missing fields, admins are emailed with the error notifications. Is there a way to restrict these notification only to the PM nomniated on the Project under users or just the project team?

If not it would be good to have the flexibility to do so, so that admins can focus on other matters, such as when lab reports aren't usccessfully linked to projects.

Hi,

One of the intended purposes of LabSync is to observe recurring import errors and have this reported back to the lab so they can be addressed and they don't continue.  This can't really be managed at a Project Manager level, as it needs an overview of all the errors, which is why Admin users recieve these notifications.

If you are seeing recurring errors that aren't being resolved, you can also reach out directly to your LabSync/EScIS support.

There is also a setting (Settings – Lab Uploads) that allows LabSync support to automatically receive notifications of lab report errors.  LabSync support will then follow up and work with the labs directly to resolve these errors.

Hi Nick,

We kinda disgaree as our roles we work to are different than what you have defined. We have turned on the notifications and hope these errors go away because we have had them almost daily the past week.
