Hi I got a work order into ESdat and the laboratory QA/QC samples (the samples that the lab do internally for their own QA/QC purposes) are showing up as regular samples in my ESdat outputs.
is there a way to exclude these samples from my outputs and the stats calculations?

The Sample_Type needs to be set by the lab in the EDD files.
You'll need to follow up with your lab and ask them to assign the appropriate sample type and then reissue the results.
The list of available sample types for the lab is listed in our lab spec here: https://ESdat.net/Lab_Specifications.aspx
This includes lab duplicates, lab triplicates, matrix spikes, etc.
Thanks,
Nick
