Can we get a default template for groundwater elevations as we do for the groundwater chemistry. At this point, we have been entering the groundwater elevation into ESdat to generate Hydrographs, but we need a populated table to add to the report. I have an example of what I mean if you like. Something to outline the groundwater elevations, data and time, top of casing, screen interval, etc.

Thanks. Ryan (EBA-Calgary)

Nevermind, we found a way. If you summarize (right click) the data you can piece together a table. A quicker (one-touch) option would be nice.

Thanks. Ryan

Hello Ryan,

If you are able to obtain what you want by using the "Summarise Data" function you can save this summary so it is always available.  There is a save button next to "View Summary".  You can also open Summarise Data from the left toolbar on the data grid.

As you are using SQL Server you will only be able to save it as a standard output if you have DBO permissions.

Sincerely,

Alex.

If I want to combine a summary of Well details and water levels, is there a way in ESdat? Our typical "Table 2" lists the monitoring well details and then the historical water elevations below. I could summarize both and export to excel and then merge the 2 excel files. Is there a better way?

Hello Ryan, Yes there is. The current WaterLevel_AHD output view combines the Well Details with the Water Level Elevations. However, only the main fields from the Wells table are included, so it is possible that you are looking for a field which isn't included in that output view by default. If using the Access Version you can easily open the database in Access and ammend the view with the extra fields you need. Look up "Customising" in the help file. If using SQL Server we can make the change for you, you would need to send an example of your typical "Table 2". Sincerely, Alex
