Hello,
We are having an issue with our ESdat that we can't seem to solve. When we try to important files in, we get the message "This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy application and correct the problem.
Clicking Switch To.. or Retry does nothing. Rebooting computer or closing inactive application doesn't work either.
The database is hosted on a file share and closing all files has no effect either. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you

Hello, We've seen two other users with this issue, it is likely to be caused by a bug in a recent patch of Windows or Office and impacts users that are using ESdat Desktop with Access databases. ESdat Server or ESdat Online systems aren't impacted. A possible temporary workaround that may work in your case is to copy the Access database to your local c drive, and see if it works ok from there. Other things to try are
See if restoring your PC to an earlier (say November or earlier) Restore Point resolves it.
If not try reinstalling the Microsoft Access drivers https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

Thanks for your help. Resolved by downgrading to an older build of Microsoft 365 Apps for Business which does not suffer from the same bug as the newer ones.
Issue appears to be with using a network drive letter instead of UNC path for database path. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/error-in-access-when-opening-a-database-on-a-network-file-share-6cbc1560-62c2-46e7-9980-d079a46f5acc
