Hi, Apologies if this is already covered somewhere else. I have been made aware that our group has lisenced users that are not reciecing email notifications relating to projects for which they are project managers (ie automated lab reports). These users are set as 'admin' they are allocated as the project managers for the projects in question and their email addresses appear to be correct. Is there some other setting that needs changing?
Regards Daniel

Hi Daniel, If some users are receiving an email notification it indicates the email is being sent.
If other users are also project managers they should be listed as a recipient for the notification which is visble as at https://www.ESdat.net/ESdat_Online_Help/notifications.htm If someone is listed as receiving a notification but didn't receive the email it will be some email problem such as the junk folder, a email rule or similar. As an experiment they could try changing their email to a different email address if they have one to see if that makes any difference. Alex

Hi Alex, Thanks for your response. As you suggested I changed the email address of the project manager that was not receiving the notifications to my personal gmail – I was then able to receive the notification that a test lab report had been received. I confirmed this again with an another email account from within our organisation and got the notification again. I then viewed the notifications (using the bell symbol) and was able to see that the notification was sent to both project managers as expected. However when I went back and put in the original email of the second project manager (that hasn’t been receiving the notifications) and uploaded a test report they still did not receive anything and interestingly when I went to view the notifications (using the bell symbol) only my name appears in the sent to column and their name does not appear at all. does this suggest that it was not sent? i.e. it isn’t a problem with their email settings (junk etc). any help with this would be appreciated. Daniel

Hi Daniel, It's worth checking the email blacklist. This stops emails from being sent to particular email addresses. You can find the list at Settings / Listings / Contacts. If the user is blacklisted, you can remove this by clicking the "Remove" button. Thanks, Nick

Hi Daniel, I've removed all the current list of users from the blacklist (there were several in there). Can you please confirm that it's now working? I'm following up why you weren't able to access this section. Thanks, Nick
