I am trying to migrate our database from desktop to online (server). Throught I could export an .edif for each project and then import it into ESdat online, but it doesnt seem to work. I am set up as an admin, however because there are currently no projects in this new database, I cant change my user permissions for the project, to allow me to Add, Delete, View etc. The error I get when i try to Validate is "You do not have Add permission for the selected Project. Please review your permissions." However when i try to edit my permissions under Licensee Management > Users > Projects, I cant save the settings since there are no projects yet. I tried creating a new project profile in the Projects & Sites section, but again, cant add anything? Am I going about this the wrong way? Or is there something I can do to have these permissions saved for this account?

Hi Paige, The Project(s) and Sites(s) that you're trying to import the EDIF in to need to be created via the "Projects & Sites" menu first. They can't be created from the bulk import screens.
Make sure you're on the "Projects" sub-tab to create the new Project, where you'll see the "Create Project" button (https://www.ESdat.net/ESdat_Online_Help/index.html?projects2.htm), not the initial "My Projects & Sites" tab. You can create the Sites from the "Sites" sub-tab. Once you've done this, you can import the EDIF via DMM. Thanks, Nick
