Folks, 

I'm just investigating getting Chemistry tables to convert the Comment into the Value for things like Exposure Classification.

Does setting the Output Units to 'Comment' achieve anything - or is it merely a marker to go look at the comment?

Hi Justin,

Having a value of "Comment" in the result / output units doesn't have any specific meaning to ESdat.

ESdat Server / Online now supports text in the "Result" column for data labs.  See https://www.ESdat.net/Lab_Specifications.aspx 

For field portal data you can create custom attributes to capture field values from a drop-down list, if you are also looking at that.
