Thanks: 1 times

In the lab report 22B3137 I have dioxin and furan data. When I export the data with BC Schedule 3.1 standards there are no standards listed for any of the dioxins and furans. When I check the BC CSR there are standards listed for PCDDs and PCDFs total (CAS number 1746-01-6). Should I check with the laboratory to see if the reported parameter Total Dioxin and Furan TEQ (WHO 2005) is the same as the BC CSR PCDDs and PCDFs total parameter? I was looking to see if I could compare the CAS numbers on ESdat to see if they are the same but had no luck..

Hi Jane,

Based on the notes in the standard, it appears that the value should be applied to the TEF, which is what has been reported by the lab.

I've updated the standard to make sure it is doing the correct comparision, and also added a unit conversion that was required to make it show.

Thanks,

Nick
