Hi

Is it possible to get all lab report deliverables saved into ESdat?

We receive the three ESdat related files (2x .csv and 1x .xml), however we would like to have the COA/QA/QCI/COC .pdf's in the database rather than saving to our network!

Thanks

Damian

Hello,

If your lab is not sending those PDF files along with the ESdat files you should request them to do so.

ESdat is designed to receive those PDF files along with the data files and to keep them for review and auditing purposes.   If included you can access them at any time from the "Download Lab Report Files" button on the Lab Report Details screen.

Sincerely,

Alex

Thanks Alex, I thought that may be the case. Do you know if we can manually add historical reports so they are all in the database? Thanks again

Hello,

You can't add to the files that were provided by the lab at the time of import.

One option for your previous files would be to save all your existing PDF files in a sharepoint folder.   You can then link to that folder in ESdat under Site - Documents (it can link to any URL, so you can link to a folder instead of a document) so you have that as a reference from within ESdat.

Alex.
