Thanks: 1 times
Two sets of lab results from our secondary lab (ALS) do not appear in the QA Checker Table generated by ESdat. The problem only occurs for metals it seems, does this have something to do with whether the samples were listed as filtered or not? The Lab definitely analysed for metals as they are in the lab report and the chemistry ESdat files.

You are correct, this issue usually occurs if results from one lab have a "Total or Filtered" value of "T" and the results from the other lab have a value of "F".  Where this is an issue it is usually just for metals.

You can confirm this by producing a Chemistry Output Table from ESdat and including duplicates and interlab duplicates.

ESdat wont compare metals which have a different T/F value as the results aren't comparable.  If one of the labs has reported the wrong value then you will have to follow that up with the lab.  As an immediate fix you could edit the values in ESdat, or edit the lab report and re-import.

Alex.
