The format of the date in the csv. seems to be alright, but when I import data the format changes.  The month, day and year are in the wrong order, and the ESdat does not accept it as a proper date format.  I have been able to manually change the date and enter the data, but it is frustrating having to manually change the date each time.

Hello,

The data format in laboratory files should be in the format dd mmm yyyy.  This prevents possible ambiguity related to different regional date settings on the PC or Server, and it souds like this is the issue you are having.

You should bring this to the attention of your laboratory.  It is specified in the laboratory specification, available at http://www.ESdat.net/Lab_Specifications.aspx.  The section at the end "Date Formats" is the section that describes this.

Sincerely,

Alex
