I have uploaded these laboratory files into my database. They have uploaded fine, but the Electrical Conductivity data will not display on the Lchem1_chemistry tab.

I can see it in the original chemistry data table and it has the correct ChemCode so it can be displayed with all of the other data when I filter it in the original data table, but when I try using exactly the same ChemCode filter on the Lchem1_chemistry, it doesn’t display. Any ideas?

Given that the Lchem1_Chemistry display query only uses the ChemCode from the Chemistry table and finds the rest of the chemistry name information from the zRef Chemistry table, as long as the ChemCode is correct nothing else should matter, should it?

The other consideration for chemistry data is units.  If ESdat can't convert the data from the units in which it is imported to the units in which the compound is output it won't be output.

The conversions are stored in the zRef_ConvertUnits table, however you don't need to refer to that table to fix the problem.

Any unit conversion problems will be indicated if you click the 'Check Units' button on the main form.  As well as indicating problems the Check Units form allows you to change the output unit for that compound or add a conversion.
