Hi,

I've just noticed that when viewing lab reports (Main-Lab Reports), and showing the First sample and last sample fields, these do not correspond for all reports to the actual first and last sample dates - some are correct, and some incorrect. Also, they do not sort correctly - either by the dates shown (incorrect and otherwise), or by the actual collection dates.

Otherwise this would be a very handy feature.

Note this is in the online version.

Hi Marc,

I'm not sure I completely understand your question.

The sorting of the Chem Table is based on the order of the Sample Information fields.  This can be changed by dragging and dropping in the menu.

More details on this can be found in the online user manual here: https://ESdat.net/ESdat_Online_Help/index.html?sample_fields.htm

If I've misunderstood what you're trying to describe, uploading some screen captures demonstrating the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

It's in the lab reports page - so in the attached, the lab reports are sorted by the first sample, however as you can see it isn't sorting properly. Also, the 11 Feb 2019 is actually 8 Feb 2019. The first one is correct, but 21 May 2019 is actually the 15 May 2019. I haven't checked them all, but there is definitely errors there. The sorting errors as well.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the clarification - that screen capture makes all the difference.

This appears to be a bug and we'll get it fixed.

I'll post here once the fix has been applied.

Nick
