Hi there, I am trying to figure out how to show both the mg/L and mg/kg in the Chem tables as our lab report shows the data in both units. In my chem codes, it shows that the soluable parameters are under the Salinity and Routine Chem Group but I can not select them to display in the table. Can you help? Thanks!

Hi Sam, ESdat uses the "_Sol" suffix on the end of a ChemCode to identify that it can be reported with a liquid unit (eg. mg/L) when the sample matrix is soil. This what is happening with the chlorides: chloride.PNG (36kb) downloaded 1 time(s).
It should be the same for the other parameters you expect to see this way. If you're not seeing them, it may be that they have not been assigned the correct ChemCodes, or aren't in the source EDD provided by the lab. The easiest way to check this is to download the "chemistry.csv" file by clicking the "Download Lab Report Files" and opening it in Excel and see what's in it. lab reports.PNG (4kb) downloaded 1 time(s).
To have results in both liquid and solid units, you should see two results for each parameter conforming to the explanation above. If the data isn't there, you will need to ask the lab to reissue the Lab Report files with the complete set of data, and using the correct ChemCodes. I hope that helps. Nick
