Hi,

We have found for one of our projects the order of data does not come up chronoliogically for historical data. For example the data orders down the coloumn as follows (where November 2021 should be at the top):

- April 2022

- October 2022

- November 2021

I have checked the data sent from the lab and it does not seem to be entered incorrectly. Could there be a setting i have switched off?

Thansk for any help.

Hi MKidd - can you please provide a screenshot and some more details regarding what the issue is?

which Data View is this happening in?

Do you have other sample information fields ordering with a higher priority which may be changing the order that the samples are being displayed in?

Hi Kimberley,

Thank you for your response. Please see below:

This is happening in "lab reports" -> "chem tables" data view, and staying the same when exported to excel. I dont believe anything is changing the order of the dates - is there a certain function/button which may have been changed by someone else that im not aware of that i could check?

Thanks

Hi Mikayla,

I think the issue may be related to the ordering that your sample information is displayed in.

Please review the Help documents for Chemistry tables for more informatin on sample information and how to change the order that samples are sorted in

Regards

Kimberley
