Hi there,

I've recently discovered the 'meta-standard' ability, however when I tried this with our graphs, I was disappointed to see that it simply shows the meta-standard in the legend, and not the environmental standrds that are associated with it.

For example, if I have three different environmental standards under a meta-standard, I still need for the graphs to be able to show each env standard with individual formatted lines.

Another way I thought of achieving this was by associated env standards with locations. However when I graph the location, the associated env standards to not appear when I have the 'Show Environmental Standards' box checked.

For our sites and locations, we have up to six environmental standards to turn on and off. When there are about a hundred locations, this becomes a very tedious process.

Hopefully I've explained well enough what I'm trying to achieve above

Will the forthcoming new ESdat release improve on these current limitations?

Thanks.

Hi Jono,

Thank you for your valuable feedback,

The rationale behind using meta standards is to simplfy the display of environmental standards, So when using metastandards in any of the views they will be displayed as one individual standard and not as a line for each individual standard.

Site and Location selected standards are not automatically displayed in the ESdat views as they are only intended to be compared to the sites or locations they are associated with, you will need to select these standards individually.

I agree that is would be conventient to display the location or site based standards if ALL results returned on the filter were applicable, I will forward this to the development team for consideration in future releases.

Regards

Kimberley
