How is it possible to link a triplicate to a parent sample? (the results are in two different files)

When specifying a lab duplicate (if your COC info isn't already known to ESdat electronically) ESdat will prompt you for the Parent Sample, and you can see that ESdat enters the SampleCode of the Parent Sample into the "Parent_Sample" column of the duplicate.

When specifying a triplicate (or interlab duplicate) the sample is in a different file.  You need to manually obtain the SampleCode of hte Parent Sample and paste it into the "Parent_Sample" column.

Note, this advice doesn't apply if use PLog to log your QA Samples, in which case ESdat works it all out for you.
