I'm having trouble getting ESdat to calculate Mann-Kendal statistics. An error message comes up saying that some parameters are missing. I've been told this is due to the non-detects in the data. What is the best way to overcome this problem? Thanks, Elizabeth.

A bit more information. The error message says "No value given for one or more required parameters". And I also seem to get this message when all the concenrations are above the detection limit too.

Hello,

If you are able to can you ensure you have the current version (4.2.x), and then attach a screen shot and error number.

Sincerely,

Alex

Thanks Alex,

Screen shots attached but I couldn't see an error message number. I've been told by one of my colleagues that this error message is because I've changed the dafault settings in the setup tab (shown in the first screen shot). It seems to work with the default settings.

Hello Elizabeth,

Thankyou for sending that screen shot through.  I've replicated your screen shot settings using the Sample database "Sample Hydrogeo that comes with ESdat" , filtering Water Chemistry for ChemName =  'Copper'  and with the Mann Kendal trend selected.   That didn't give an error.  Perhaps try the same thing, and if that works for you I might need to see your database to look for issues there.  Also, I'm running 4.2.21, maybe try downloading that from the website.

Alex

Thanks,

Updating to version 4.2.22 seems to have fixed the problem.
