I'm getting the following error messages when I try to open a database:

23280 Unrecognized database format; and

19440 Unrecognized database format.

What does this mean and what's the best way to tackle? Just opened this yesterday with no issues.

cheers

Hello Joe,

Unfortunately those errors aren't good news, and the priority here is to recover your data, or to obtain a copy from backup.  There is a section in the help file under "Database Corruption", which is now also on the web at http://www.ESdat.net/ESdathelp/index.html?resolving_problems.htm

Sincerely,

Alex
