Hi,

ESdat has been throwing out an this error...

23280 The microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object 'MSysDd'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and path name correctly

Our ESdat isn't producing tables at all now.

Prior to this it was coming up with an error to do with

9720 'Runstatcalcs' .

Anyone have any idea why these problems would be occuring?

Hello,

Has it just started happening? Do you know what might have happened on on your PC that might be associated with the start of that error message being generated?

Is it happening on all databases or just one.  If just one try a compact and repair (under File menu).

Also try uninstalling ESdat, make sure the installation folder is completely empty, and reinstall.

Sincerely,

Alex.

Yes its just starting happening, it effects all databases. No idea what may have caused it to happen. We've been getting the 'runstatcalcs' error for some time but it still produced the tables so we hadnt looked into it.

I cant produce a table from any old data either.

We appear to have to misplaced our CD so uninstalling/reinstalling isnt currently an option unfortunately.

 Cheers,

KK

Hello,

You can download the installation file from the website.  First uninstall and make sure all files in the install directory are removed (or delete them) and re-install.
