Hi,

I have some water chemistry i am importing into ESdat, the results are all around<0.001mg/l.

When i import this into ESdat it automatically changes it into ug/L, because all the historical data has

been reported in mg/L i would like to keep it consistant. There is no option to change back to mg/L in the check units

tab. Is there a easy way of doing this?

Thanks

Hello Kate,

The units that data are input in can vary per compound, so ESdat doesn't output in the same units as the data is entered in necessarily.  The Output Units can be the same as the input units if you wish, but don't have to be.

Tutorial 2 goes through this and is worth completing, particularly the section titled "Chemistry Lookup Table" in relation to this question.  Also have a read at http://ESdat.net/ESdathe...html?chemistry_units.htm

Understanding the Chemistry Lookup Table is critical to controling the units, grouping and order of your compounds so is well worth being familiar with.  The Chemistry Lookup Table is in ESdat under Data Tables - zRef_Chemistry_Lookup.

Regards,

Warwick
