Hi Guys,

 2 data label questions:

1. the default font is Courier New and when you change to Arial font, the formatting (space between values, etc) does not carry over.  Is there a way to set this for different fonts?  Can it be saved as a template?

2. is there any way to make the default font color for non-exceedances to be green?  And still leave the Sample ID, depth, Parameters black?

thanks,

Cory

Hello Cory,

ESdat needs to use a fixed with font as with other fonts spaces and other characters are different widths, meaning that one line doesn't align with a line above it.  Other fixed width fonts can be used if desired.

This can be saved as a template for exports to ArcMap, but within ESdat it will always revert to Courier New for table outputs on maps.

Exceedances can be shown in any colour from the available colours, however non-exceedances are always coloured using the colour for the label, as given in the layer properties.  There is no option to flag non-exceedances in a colour different to hte label.  This hasn't been raised before, but we'd be happy to hear if other users would like this option, for consideration in future functionality.

Hello Cory,

Export of the map labels in Chemistry  Result Table format can't be done in Arial format - at least it can, but it will look horrible.  Arial isn't a fixed width font so nothing will align.

As for the template files for ArcMap.  See http://www.ESdat.net/ESd...lp/index.html?arcgis.htm
