Hi does anyone know if we can export GIS data to programs other than ArcGIS? (ie I am using QGIS and cannot seem to export any chemistry data?)

Cheers,

Hello,

ESdat can export map data in Shape file format (shp), MapInfo (tab), Google Earth (kml), Open Geoscience Consortium (gml), and csv.

QGIS is bound to be able to read some of these formats.  However, QGIS may not support some of the finer points, such as colouring of exceedances in labels that ESdat and ArcGIS supports, I'm not sure; it may be that you need to play with the labels somewhat in QGIS.

Regards,

Warwick
