Filter to QA Reports

Hi, Is it possible to send only water results to the QA report? There is a 'filtered' button (actually spelt 'fitered' in ESdat) in the 'Reports' tab but it doesn't seem to filter anything when highlighted. I currently have a large database of soil and water samples ranging over 10 years. As Access cannot process large amounts of data I was hoping that I could export to QA reports using a filter. Regards Tom

Hello Tom, The Filtered Locations option applies to the "Crystal and SSRS Reports" button above it, not to the QA Report. You will have to filter the data by either date range or lab report in order to generate a suitably sized dataset, there is no option to produce a lab report by matrix. However, do you not also have a "SQL Server Upgrade" for ESdat? If using ESdat with SQL Server there are no such limitations. Alex.

Hi Alex thank you for the quick response. How do I find out if we have the SQL Server Upgrade? If we do, how do we set it up/ install it. Regards Tom

Hello Tom, You will need to check with your Power User. If they are not sure please send your company details to support@ESdat.com and I can look it up. Alex
