Thanks: 1 times
I have made some changes to the chemistry lookup table (compound grouping and ordering) and I want these changes to be used by all new and existing databases.  I am using the Access version.

If you are using the Access version any changes made to a database will apply only to that database.

You can replicate the settings for import to other (existing) projects/database by selecting File - Export - Data Interchange File and exporting the table(s) of interest.

In the destination project/template select Import - Other File Types - Data Interchange File and select the file and import the data.  As much of the data will be getting updated rather than added you may need to import once with the "Add New" default setting, and once with the "Update" setting.

You could also do this by manually copying the data into the destination import template from the original project, which would work equally well.

You can also make these changes to your New Project Template, so that all new projects will have this setup.  See the help file for information on the new project template (Setup - Templates - Files - New Projects).
