Hi Warwick,

We keep on having output issues with BaP in our QAQC tables.  The correct value that should be reported is 0.000002 mg/L however, it is beingoutput as 0.0 .

Have you heard of this issue with any other consultant? Can you please provide a fix or advise on fixing the issue.

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Brad,

It is likely that the same number is being output in all outputs (ie in ESdat's main screen + the Chemistry Tables?).

It is likely it can be resolved by either changing the output units for BaP to ug/L, or extending the maximum number of significant figures (Setup - Chemistry - Significant Figures in the Access version)

Hi Warwick,

I tried setting the sig nigs to 6 to account for the "0" just incase they were considered as sig figs, but this didnot work.

We dont want to change the units at this time to keep all output consistent between all groundwater tables.

any other possible solutions?

Thanks

Brad

Hi Brad,

Try setting it a bit larger to see what happens.  Just to confirm, it's not specific to the QA Report?

Otherwise, and if you don't wish to change the units we would need to look at the database to offer a resolution.  To do that zip it and send it to support@ESdat.com.

Regards,

Warwick
