Hello

I have recently imported a lab generated chemistry report into one of our projects. The field program included the collection of trip and field blanks.  In the sample.csv file, I changed the sample type to field or trip as appropriate and imported the data. However, when I create a chem table or look at a data table in ESdat, the data appears but is not labeled as a Trip of Field Blank. Do I have to create "sample locations" with those names or is the thinking that the chem table is filtered to not include blanks (which seems a bit onerous).

The documentation seems a bit thin on how ESdat deals with blanks. Can you provide some guidance?

Thanks.

Eric

Hi Eric,

If the Sample is appearing in the Chemistry Exceedance Table, but is not labelled as you like, check that you have included the "Field_ID" and the "Sample_Type" columns in the output.  The Sample_Type indicates if the Sample is a Trip or Field Blank.
