Hi Warwick,

We seem to be having difficulties with ESdat at the moment in regards to QAQC tables and the templates directory.  I have created our own custom template on a different network drive (O).  I have configured ESdat to reference thse template files.  However, when we create a QAQC table it still references the template files on C drive where ESdat was installed.

Have you got any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thanks

Brad

Hi Warwick,

Since posting this i have also found that the other templates that we are using are not referencing the correct O drive templates either.

thanks

Hi Brad, Guidance on how to set up template directories is available on the ESdat support pages: http://ESdat.com.au/ESda...template_directories.htm (note the order of precedence) Regards Tom

Hi Tom,

Ive been working with ESdat for a while now and had no issues with template directories until a recent update.  It seems to be referencing the default location when we have set the template location to O drive.

Thanks

Brad

Hi Brad, If using a sub-folder under the Network Path to store your templates, you need to specify the actual folder in the Template Path, unless the folder is named “Templates”. If the folder is named “Templates” it will be automatically detected as a sub folder under the Network Path. Regards Tom

Hi Tom,

I've just completed what you suggested, however, this has not fixed the problem.  The error that im getting is 31590.

I will be uninstalling ESdat and reinstalling it to see if that fixes this problem.  The amount of time i spend fixing this program is unbelievable

Thanks

Brad

Hi Brad We understand that your customised templates are stored in the following folder: O:\Environmental\Software\ESdat\Template Files However, the Template Path defined in ESdat was different, as follows: O:\Environmental\Software\ESdat By making the changes to the template path, ESdat is now looking in the correct place for your customised templates. Error 31590 is indicating that ESdat is now finding your template for the QA report, however there appears to be an issue with that customised QA report template. Delete the QA report template from your customised template folder (i.e. the template path) and replace it with a blank QA report template from the installation directory. Only the header and footer of the QA report should be changed. Please refer to http://www.ESdat.net/ESd...index.html?qa_report.htm for more details. Regards Tom
