I've noticed every time i save a table and then close it and then re-open it the satistical summery figures have been removed and placed with #### (or #NAME? when you widen the column). I've tried saving it in different formats, *.xls, *.xlsx *.xlsm but no matter as soon as a close it and re-open it the values have gone. Anyway to stop the values from being removed?

The statistics in the Chemistry Output Tables export to Excel require use of Macros in Excel so that any edits to the data, such as deletions if the data is going to be reported elsewhere, are incorporated into the statistics in a real-time manner. If macros are not allowed by Excel then they won't be able to recalculate and what you are seeing is the result. This has become more of an issue since Excel 07. Saving as xlsx automatically removes macros, which is why this option is disabled in the workbook tha tables are exported to. Even saving as .xls or .xlsm and enabling macros will not work if the location it is saved to is not specified as "Trusted". If your server is not specified as "Trusted" you may see this issue. To specify trusted locations in Excel 07 select File - Excel Options - Trust Center - Trust Center Settings - Trusted Locations - Add new Location. If this doesn't resolve it, it is still going to be an issue of the macros being disabled, and you may have to pass your query to IT who will hopefully be able to resolve it. To help them, attached is a Excel workbook with a macro which isn't password protected, it should be saved to the same location as the other workbooks you are having issues with (the c: is nearly always trusted, so don't save it there). It will provide a message when the Open Workbook macros run.
