Good Morning.

I was working with a user to load the 2014 Alberta Tier 1 guidelines and we noticed that the conditional parameters are not included in the XL tables.  I haven't personally worked a lot with Alberta Tier 1 in the past, but apparently there are a lot of calculations which we plan to deal with as post-import calculations where possible (I'll have to learn how to do that, though).

Just curious if that is the main reason for not including the conditional parameters other than depth in the tables.  I was expecting to see something similar to the BC Schedule 5 tables for parameters dependent on pH, hardness, etc.

Thanks,

Brad Camroux

Hi Brad,

I've had a look through the AB Teir 1 guidelines (they are at http://www.ESdat.net/Environmental_Standards.aspx ) and I can't see the Hardness or pH dependance values.  Could you email through the regulatory doc you are looking at & indicate where they are, and we'll look into it further.

Where there are guidelines that depend on pH/hardness it is best to deal with that in the guideline, rather than as a post import calculation, unless it is more complicated than that and the logic of the guideline tables is unable to accomodate it.
