Hello,

Hopefully this will be my last post for today.  I'm just wondering if I could get an example of an ESdatCalc file for post-import custom calculations.  As with many things in ESdat, there is no documentation regarding the format of these XML files.  I'm simply told what they are and that they exist, but not how to build or use them.  What declaration is used? What are the available tags? What's the DTD? Are there any attributes to the tags? And so on and so forth.....

Thank you,

Brad Camroux

Hi Brad,

A library of Post Import Custom Calculations is included in the ESdat Installation Folder.

They are complex to understand, being written in database language (SQL), so we don't recommend you create your own.  We'd recommend you request your support (Dataforensics?) to help you, they can normally do it pretty efficiently and for very little cost.

Most normal calcs are already distributed with the software, so that is the first thing to check.

Regards,

Warwick
