Hi ESdat community, I am trying to get an idea about what is governing the Accepted field in the Locations table. It seems to be influenced by Lab Reports that gets loaded. Am I correct in assuming that it is part of LSpecs? Further does any documentation exist that we can have a read? Thanks, James

Hi James, If you are using ESdat with ESdat Server you will have the "Accepted" field in the Locations Table. It's not related to lab reports. It's also not specifically related to LSPECS, although works in a complementary way. It allows you to specify if locations are reviewed and accepted, and is most useful if you have a project where people need to create ad-hoc locations, and where it's possible that one location could be created twice in the system, it allows for tracking of locations that have been created and have not been reviewed. Two locations can also be "consolidated", if they should in fact be one. You will have access to the "Locations Portal" as a part of the web interface for ESdat server, where this kind of enhanced functionality is available, and is optomised for field/tablet usage. See http://www.ESdat.net/ESd...elp/locations_portal.htm Regards, Warwick
