Hello, I have been using ESdat for about 4 months now and have been tasked with making it work with gINT. At this point I just want to be able to experiment a bit to see if it will work for us for borehole logs, cross sections, etc. I put some dummy data into a test database, and managed to tell ESdat to use the correct library (glb file), but I can't figure out how to direct it to the template (gdt file). I have tried the following: - Saving a copy of the library and template in the local folder with the ones that came with ESdat (gint std australia and gint std us).
- When that didn't work, I selected Setup > Template Path and saved the same path as indicated in the bullet above.
When I try to output the geology data to gint, I still only see the options for the gint std australia/us.gdt files in a dropdown list. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Please assume I know very little :) Also, if it makes a difference, we currently don't have access to the web version. IT is working on it but it is low priority. Thanks! Alyssa

Hi Alyssa, Have a look at http://www.ESdat.net/ESdatHelp/exporting_to_custom_gint_datab.htm , paying particular attention to the last paragraph. Warwick
